About Me

Mark Altman is a Multi-disciplinary Graphic & Visual Designer with a love for all  things digital.  Recently, he has balanced freelancing for private clients under his own banner, with conceptual-level work in marketing design and digital-product design.  In addition, he also took an active role in fundraising design for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as the design of web and mobile email-marketing campaigns for Universal Studios and The Shout! Factory.

Previous to his recent work, Mark served as the principle digital designer on the inaugural season of NBC’s The Voice, as well as worked on a number of co-branded sponsorship campaigns for Fortune 500 clients such as: Ford, Home Depot, Microsoft and Walmart. He has also worked for a number of top-tier clients industry-wide including: Disney, Fox, Sony Pictures, Edmunds.com, JDate and Universal Pictures.  

Prior to his experience in graphic design, Mark worked for The United Paramount Network, where he worked with the teams behind Men In Black, The Matrix, Star Trek and The Fast and the Furious.  Additionally, his early career experience included work as a Visual Effects Intern for Star Trek Post-Production, where he worked with a team whose credits include: Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Top Gun.

 

Career Highlights

Art Department and Model Shop work for Star Trek Post-Production was featured on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Work for Campaign Solutions launched at the National Press Club and was covered by CNN and Fox News.

Worked with Copia Creative to develop the branding for Life Sports Mgmt., featuring NBA star Baron Davis.

Worked on Mobile Candy Dish's co-branded campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, featuring NBA All-Star and League MVP LeBron James.

Worked for McCann/MRM Worldwide as a part of the team that re-designed and re-launched the Microsoft Windows website.

Worked with Disneyshopping's Manager of Online-Creative to institute a templated design system for email-marketing creative.

Work as the principle digital designer, on the inaugural season of NBC's The Voice, was featured on-air during prime-time.

Played an active role in the re-design of the Regional Volunteer newsletter for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
