The Challenge.

From the get-go, the Producers of The Voice had no intention of creating just another talent search. From the A-list coaches to the innovative approach and methodology of the show itself, it was clear from day 1, that this was destined to be something unique and special. The challenge - how to you create a one-of-a-kind experience that would set itself apart from all of the shows that had come before it.

The Approach.

Create an opportunity for viewers, at home, to build a strong connection with the contestants and their coaches, as they moved through the various rounds of the show. To do this, NBC and Warner Brothers took a unique approach - each contestant was given their own fan page where viewers could follow their off-camera activities, share in their journey and enjoy a level of access that was unparalleled in its scope.

The Result.

A fresh and innovative take on the traditional talent search format, that helped redefine a genre, and cemented the concepts of user-generated content, audience participation and the influence of social media into the modern talent show lexicon.
