Thanks.

A Word of Thanks.

As the old saying goes, you can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep. To that end, it is important to say thank you to everyone that helped in this effort and supported its realization. A very special thank you to all of the Mouseketeers, the Orbers, the Peacock Crew [Mr. Pai-Ritchie, it was an honor and a privilege - C, S, G, J, J and NE (it was fun working with all the cool kids) and Dammit Jim, it was an homage!], the JDaters, the Trojans, the team at St. Jude, the psychics and fortune tellers at Outlook, the Microsoft gang at MRM, the Marketers at Kaiser, the pit crew at Edmunds, the Hulugans, the Amazonians (big thanks to Lucy, Jaz, EK and JD!), the ladies and gentlemen of Williams-Sonoma, the ghouls and goblins at Spencer, Fox, Paramount, Sony and Universal Pictures, The Syndicate, the Corestaffers, the Circlers (Hellooooooo!), The Aquent/Vitamin-T gang (your swag bags rock!) and all of the Content People, Senior Designers, Art Directors, and Creative Directors (especially RK, HH, CZ, JC, SC, MC, SS, DM, Karen K., PY, VM, ET and TR) that put up with me and taught me along the way.

I would also like to thank the kind employees at Best Buy for not hassling me while using their display models to test this site across devices. More importantly, thank you to a couple of restaurant guys and two extraordinary women for taking a chance on an untested designer and not getting too angry when things went sideways. But most importantly, thanks to The Kid and Loid for getting me back in the game, Dub for getting me back in the saddle, a very masculine thank you to War, a big thanks to Mouse for believing in me before I was able to believe in myself (not that I do now) and a huge shout out to Reginald - those first steps would not have been possible without you. And a very special thank you to the Star Trek family - who knew I was a fan, and hired me anyway.

And finally, a special thank you to my mom, a good man who helped me when no one else would, a man that kept my head together when the sky literally fell, and all of the special people that have given their hugs, time, encouragement and support along the way. Oh, and of course, thanks Dream Killer, Raspberry Beret, Super Squirrel, Alice, Mr. Gainer, Pluto, Mikey, Glen of the Dale (”Help” - LOL), The freelancer that “I bossed around”, MJ, RR, AS (who, in a misguided moment, called me his hero), DD, JB, Anne, Lu, AR (for coming up with “Jables”), the entire content team and their fearless leader, the photography team, Jen (who taught me the finer points of soft lines), Captain Jack Sparrow and the rest of the squad - 90% of the designer I now am is due, in large part, to all of you and you were all like a big, wonderful, albeit disapproving, family - thanks for allowing me to be your guest. And thanks to my heroes JC, GL and SS, for showing me that it’s okay to be a dreamer.

P.S. - BC, I was most definitely, not having fun, and of course, thanks Cool.
